With summer coming to an end the days are starting to become shorter and the nights longer. You really rely on your headlight to light your way to and from work. If your headlights are over 3 years old they have probably started to lose their clarity or started to oxidize.
You can go just about anywhere these days even the side of the highway and someone is offering <headlight restoration. The problem is they don’t offer a product that will prevent it from happening again.
At Concours, we offer two types of protection. A special one-year polymer UV coating. The same type of coating is applied at the factory. Or a special polyurethane film that we apply to the lens after the restoration process. This film will protect your headlights from sandblasting, bug etching, and the harsh chemicals used at the automated car washes.
The photo to the right is a headlight about to be reconditioned. The painted areas around the light are masked off and protected.
This headlight is from the same vehicle and has been reconditioned and the 7-year polyurethane film has been applied.
